6899.      Found this bug in the ceiling. Sometimes it just fall out from the basement ceiling. Hope you can identify this. WINKLER, Manitoba. Canada

Number 6899. This is a sowbug, a terrestrial crustacean in the order Isopoda; the vast majority of these are harmless scavengers on decomposing organic matter.
