Requirements
SKILLS Security and Safety Bond able:
Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Eligible for professional liability insurance
Transportation/Travel Information:
Valid driver’s licence, Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work Location Information:
Urban area, On-site customer service, Various locations.
Personal Suitability:
Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Flexibility, Team player, Client focus, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills:
Provide estimate of costs
Specific Skills:
Inspect Residential and Commercial buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, determine type of treatment required, Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas, Clean out areas that harbor pests, Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
Experience an asset
