Dragonfly nymph
5720 My mother took this picture at her cottage in Porter’s Lake NS Canada. My mother said that the dragon fly was eating this other bug (brown one) she was wondering what kind of bug it is.
This is a nymph and newly emerged adult Hagenius brevistylus (Odonata: Gomphidae), a dragonfly known as the dragonhunter, as it commonly captures and feeds upon other dragonflies.
