Pigeon Damage

·         The acid in their feces is highly corrosive. It will eat through paint. Defacing the sides of buildings, awnings and walkways is common with pigeon infestations. Pigeon droppings can lead to problems such as air conditioner unit replacement, roof corrosion, awning repairs, constant window cleaning, walkway power washing, re painting etc.  Not only may it damage your structural investment, the sounds of pigeons “cooing”, nesting debris and droppings can damage company image instantly.

Control Methods

·         Bird Spike comes in plastic or stainless steel. Coverage varies from 3”-8”. Our technicians will be happy to show you the best model of spike for the job.

·         Bird Shock consists of low voltage wires that are set in a track or on insulators that are installed on the ledge.  They use batteries, solar power or can be tied into the building wiring.  The mild shock generated by this system is very effective.  Although costly, the results may justify the expense.

·         Stealth Netting consists of ¾” mesh (plastic or nylon) that “seals up” or excludes an areas access.  This method is extremely effective for awnings, inside parkades, rafters in warehouses, barns and rooftops of houses (ask our techs).

·         Falconry may be necessary for large scale projects such as airport hangars, waste/recycling plants, grain elevators or rooftops with extremely high pigeon populations.

Clean-Up and Odour Control

·         Clean up and Odour Control is a very important stage in the process of pigeon elimination.  This is the first step in all of our programs, ensuring that your strata, building, awning etc. is spic ‘n span prior to application of the control method used.  We want your structure to look brand new when our technicians finish the job.  Our technicians will have before and after pictures and testimonials for you to look over.
